US citizen want to get a visa to Australia

US citizen planning to marry Australian woman.... once the visa is approved, at what state do I apply for citizenship? thanks in advance.

You are able for apply in both state. If you are the green card holder and your partner have Australian PR. You can apply in both of state for PR. And you surly get the visa to Australia.

jacks2028, I strongly agree with you. But i don't think that they also want visa for it. But according to me when the U.S has added Australia to the Visa Waiver Program, allowing Australians to enter the U.S with just their passport for up to 90 days.

I think you can apply for the citizenship in both the country. I think both place are good to live but I think if you want to enjoy your life good then Australia is good.
